Giclée (pronounced "zhee-clay") reproductions were originally developed in 1989 as a plate-less method of fine art printing. The word Giclée is French for "to spray". The images are scanned and digitally stored in a computer and sent directly to a high-resolution printer. Unlike other printing methods, each image is sent to the printer individually.

We Proof and Archive

Digimtech.com will archive the image for future orders. All jobs will be proofed at 8-1/2 x 11 on the actual material. Additional proofing will be performed upon request. The color proof that you select for your edition must be returned before your print order can be processed. This proof is kept on file during the printing process, then archieved to assure consistent color matching for future printings.

This 20 mil. cotton/polyester blend canvas with a matte surface creates reproductions so real; they look like the original for a fraction of the cost.

Fine Art, Rag-Paper Reproductions:

The Image quality is truly impressive on this 100% cotton fiber paper. It features a beautiful texture and is pH neutral, acid free. This art paper boasts a tremendous shelf life.

Digimtech.com prints to high quality color specifications. A very small color shift may occur between your original and the printed job.

Additional charges occur to scan 35mm slides, transparencies or original artwork.

A $25. fee is charged, to proof your image on the actual material, prior to printing.

(Reorders, however, do not require either fee).

If you choose to send us your images on disk, (300dpi.tif file), the scanning fee does not apply.

The customer is responsible for all shipping charges.
